I am having trouble figuring out how to get to the bulbs in the footwell lights. My car is going to the dealer tomorrow for routine maintenance and I am going to have them install the footwell bulbs. It would be helpful to have instructions on how to open the footwell casings once removed from the car.
Hello, it's fairly simply to replace the foot well bulbs, you need to pop out the lens with a screwdriver you will see a spot on the lens where you can insert a screwdriver or similar tool between the lens and surface, you will then see a metal heat shield that covers the bulb, simply spread the metal sheet open by spreading it on each side and remove, this will give you access to the bulb, to install the new led bulb do the reverse of course once you put that metal heat shield back on the lens simply squeeze it to give it its original shape back . Thanks

Great upgrade. Mine were shipped fast. Installation was painful but straight forward. The only suggestion is better directions for the dome light install. I got it done, but I think I pried off just the lens when I should've taken the whole assembly out. Broke a few of the tabs on the lens so it doesn't sit flush. Oh well. Otherwise, LOVE the new look inside and out. Thanks Nello!

+1 on this upgrade, totally worth it.

Installation was easy. The user manual has directions for almost everything. I think the only spots I could not find were the footwell and glove box lights; that's where the instructions from maxspeed helped.

Do one light at a time and check polarity before moving to the next one. Should take less than half hour.
