if you want to replace the stock turbos on a 997.1tt for more power, what kit and what turbos are most bang for the buck? No engine rebuild. Are bigger VTGs the way to go if you still have stock internals? what tuners offers the best kit? thanks

 

There is many options. modded vtgs, A28, A30, GT30..etc
All works perfect on stock engine. We test all of them. It all depends what it is your goal.
Do u have tip or 6speed?

 

A car that is as useable with little lag,but alot faster then stock. I guess modded VTGs are the way to go then? How much hp is possible with VTGs, 650whp? car is 6speed

 

Modded vtgs is a great option but may add littel extra cash and get another another 200-220whp with A3076 kit over the 650-660whp with modded vtgs..Here littel comparo

modded vtgs kit took 0-186.5mph in 22-23sec
A3076 kit 0-186.5 in 18's plus it is very responsive and you will get low 600whp on low boost with A3076

 

how much and what else is needed for A3076

 

Trade tt for GT2

 

You will need intake system, intercoolers, injectors, water/oil lines, ebc...etc

 

when you say modded vtg's .. are they just switching out the compressor wheel?

is marski doing this mod??

 

^^^porka, I thought the best upgrade for 997tt's were Parda slip on loafers allowing you to feel just how slikly smooth and fast these vehicles can be!

It can be bigger compressors or bigger compressors, clip turbines, extrude housing.

 

AWD motorsports 65mm @ 2400$ + 997.2 tt intercoolers + ported headers + exhaust + IPD 82 TB + flash.

 

Get a flash first then see if you want to upgrade the turbo,s... Flash gets rid of a lot of Turbo lag and made my car seem like a different car all together..

i´m thinking about buying a 997 Turbo!

What do you think about the following step:

-997 GT2 RS Turbos
-997 GT2 RS Intercoolers
-Exhaust with 100 cpi cat´s
-Filtersystem (thinking of Fabspeed)

What do you think will be the output of the engine?

I guess 650-700 hp? am i´m wrong?
