Nothing fishy there dude ,i'm in that 997tt that was the 1st run of the day testing the track figuring out what speed to roll from & what gear to start in ,my car beat the Mclaren later in the day when Betim was driving my car & the 996tt miss shifted as it says ,he actually miss shifted when i ran him too.

Without the "f_cking" GT500 MP4 would be "swallowed"!

It was the last ECU evo, supposed 620hp by its owner...

I don't know what the rev limiter is at on that 997TT, but if it was the stock 6500 then it should've started in 3rd gear for a 50-140. You can see it almost have to shift immediately after the start of the race and that's when the MP4 jumped in front.

When I was playing around with my PBox after I got my APR tune, I did a bunch of 60-130 runs going full throttle from 50mph so I can be in full boost when I hit 60. I tried starting in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I got the best time when I started in 4th gear. 6spd 997TT lose too much time between shifts waiting for boost to build back up.

Can you send me that vid as well! Adam your car should put at least 2 car lengths on that Mclaren. Your 680whp with the kit you have right? Is that Mclaren stock?

That Maclaren is just plain fast ,on that 1st run of the day i started in 2nd & didn't try brake boost,but later found it better to start in 3 rd & brake boost,i don't have vid of 2nd run Betim was driving.
