997TT SSK Issue
997TT SSK Issue
Running into a small issue with my OEM short shifter. Drove the car this weekend for the first time in over a month. 2, 4th and 6th are a a challenge even with the car warmed up. Not sure if the car sitting for a while along with big temp shifts have somehow caused this, either way curious if anyone has any input before is goes back to the dealer.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Its the OEM shifter. It's been about 6 or so weeks since I last drove it and when I last parked it there was no issue. Is and alignment issue or somehow the cable inside the shifter stiffened up while not being used, also interesting to note that 1, 3, and 5th, and reverise all engage normally.

Dealer is going to have a look at it, just curious if this issue is somehow related to the time the car has been siting, I would some the answer is no, if so one helluva conincedence.

Hmmm, keep you guys posted on what the root cause is.
That must be a relief for you...root cause for me would be why did the weight fall off?

If it's a B&M that'd be unusual or a factory one doesn't seem to fail?
, need to be used as often as possble or else they would let you down when put to test
