Question Changing time without PCM?

I recently had a new headunit installed replacing my PCM 2.1 on my 2007 997TT. I noticed that my console time is off by about an hour. I did some searching and cannot seem to find a way to change the time without PCM. Allegedly it is possible to do this, but I've only found a way to cycle between 12 hour and 24 hour time.

There is a small **** just below the clock display on the instrument panel. Just hold it down until the hour starts to flash. You can then adjust the time by rotating the **** left or right.
