Powershift sequential gearbox

Hey guys,

does anyone know a gearbox supplier offering a sequential
gearbox which could handle our torque?

Thinking about a sequential gearbox with a compressor shifting system.

Someone driving this conversion with the original manual gearbox?

http://www.sequentialshifters.com/index.html

Not the same but maybe also a nice update!?

Regards
David

Matt @ gt has one in the works.. Not sure it has a front drive output but If your paying I am sure Matt will make anything. Also he has can set you up with a "dog box" style instead of the synchronized stock setup. No clutch shifting.

Edit: I hear you can use the dog box and with that shifter and only use the start the car rolling. I would use the clutch on down shifts tho.

To my knowledge, Hollinger produces a true sequential clutchless gearbox. But it is extremely expensive.

I had it in my GT3 RS, in the city it's not comfortable cause on low rmp on 5th or 6th speed and make a stop you'll always need to switch all gears, and after 5-6 times it became very boring.
And yes, you need to use clutch. When you will try to do very fast shifting, it can not switch in the gear.

I would say it is sequential style shifter not a gearbox at all!!!

Some kind of actuator system but there are more engineered ones out there:

http://www.geartronics.co.uk/paddleshift.htm

One option for our car could be quaife:

http://www.quaife.co.uk/news/new-por...ckage-launched

The Hollinger one would be no choice for me

Not sure about the geartronics but the Quaife wont handle the power!!!

The Quaife was made for the N/A cars.

Point of information: The Geartronics shifters are pneumatic shifters for SEQUENTIAL transmissions ONLY. They would be applicable to Cup cars and RSRs, and no others--including PDK cars.

For sure the quaife can't handle the power, it was more for information.
It would be hard to find a GB which is able to handel the torque of a tuned
997TT i think it is impossible.

Geartronics is related to the quaife gb you can only use it in combination with a dog gb that I know for sure
