E85 + stock turbos?
#46
Two weeks or so. Testing a few more combinations. Somewhere 650+ will be the final. Right now its 705wtq, 684whp. But trying a few more things and power might move up/down depending.

Wow awesome power for vtg's. Staying with 997.2 Intercoolers? Also stock ypipe and plenum?

The setup is not 100% final yet, but it's clear we ran into an intake restriction. Todd has tested several different part combinations and we can definitively say the turbos work.
By swapping some basic parts, Todd has picked up nearly 200whp from when I dropped the car off to him. I'll provide full update when I get the car back in a week or two including new 60-130 numbers. I am very giddy though in anticipation...

I'm very interested in seeing the results! Please keep me posted.

Post dyno please.

The only major downside to putting it there is the need to remove the rear bumper in order service the air filters. I'd like to hear one though, I'll bet it sounds pretty mean. One of the side effects of OEM airboxes is it tends to mask the metallic air rushing sound of turbochargers doing work .
It would be nice if someone made an affordable inlet pipe solution, $3500 for carbon fiber pipes is borderline insulting - and $1500 for two silicone pipes is still insane.

Picking it up tomorrow. Apparently my car just set Todd's dyno record for a VTG equipped car. Though of note - I did decide to add on every addon part there is. Essentially it is an alpha kit without alpha turbos.
Here's the dyno chart showing when I dropped it off vs now. Steady increases in runs are due to adding a part here, a part there. As you can see, the mid-range and top end where it was being choked off before, it no longer is.
I'll run 60-130s this weekend if it stops raining. No idea what to expect.
