couple of questions about my new TT-S
Hi everyone, I picked up my TT-S today and it is, of course, awesome! Didn't get to play too much because of rain, but I should have some fun tomorrow. A few things I've run into and was hoping for comment on: 1. should the "Turbo S" logo on the tach light up like all of the other gauge displays? Mine does not. 2. I've tried 2 iPods, and both play only the right channel. Both have up to date firmware. mp3s play fine from a USB stick. Anyone else seen this? Ideas? 3. my radio came on spontaneously a couple of times while driving. This was always under hard acceleration. Any ideas?

3. Do you have your phone with Bluetooth? Did you get any incoming calls? I get frustrated at the radio because it turns on by itself every time I receive and end a call.

My 2012 Turbo S...
1) Does not light up the Turbo S logo on the tach
2) Plays my iPod on the left and right channel
3) Does not have a similar radio problem

Why the heck doesn't the Turbo S logo light up??? Sounds like I have an actual problem with the iPod. I noticed that when you disconnect the iPod, it reverts to radio. I wonder if the last 2 issues are related...bad connection from the cable to the iPod, which occasionally completely disconnects (as a result of movement from hard acceleration?), causing the radio to come on?

It bugs me too that the "turbo" don't light up. My other Cayenne and Panamera both lights up and looks a lot better!
My radio do the same thing too on all three cars, I think it is the PCM glitch...

Like everyone else said here, the Turbo S logo does not light up on the tach and you have a buggy PCM system (my 11TT had this same issue and it reboots itself randomly). Make an appt w/the dealership and they will fix the issue for ya. Enjoy in good health.

Update on my iPod situation
Went to my local dealer today, and got a new cable. This is supposedly an older style cable, but it has a USB plug as well so the iPod charges. It also plays both channels of audio, so that is a big improvement!
