Iam thinking of buying a 997 turbo Gen 1 or a gtr (2013).

In fact the only thing for the gtr is the performance so probably i wont buy it as i do not like the look.

So iam thinking of a 997 turbo Mezger.

Iam deciding wheter to buy a Manual or Tip, both have some problem i do not like so iam unsure about what to take.

I read a lot of Softronic, AWE, EVOMS here, but in Europe they do not have the bes reputation cause of 615 hp on a 997 turbo only via Software and PB Times are somethin what european porsche drivers wont believe.

The famous German Tuners only give 560hp on the turbo and with some of them i had some problems with the last cars so i want to another time to them.

What Tuner can give me a smooth and good power on the 997 turbo without changing turbos and where i have a good driveability?

I want to install gt2rs intercoolers, exhaust (Does anybody know one that is not too loud and has a decent sound with power gain), maybe filter.

As iam from oversea it would be good if it goes via obd.

Protomotive.

I recently went thru the dilemma of choosing a tune, and after many many hours of research, finally decided on Protomotive. He sends you an initial tune, then you datalog and sent it back to him, he then fine tunes and send you another file. I am only on the initial tune, just sent him the datalogs yesterday. It is absolutely amazing so far, its deceptively fast. The power comes on so smooth, you dont feel like you are going as fast as you are. I raced 2 of my friends cars so far, a 950HP 2012 camaro and a 650 HP 2012 Mustang 5.0. The camaro has 3 boost settings, 655, 750ish, and 950. I raced him on the 655 setting and won by 1/2 a car from 50-160. Exactly the same result with the mustang to 140.

I am very excited because Todd Knighton (Owner/Tuner @ Protomotive) said that we still have some room for tuning when he looked at the logs.

The good thing is that almost all of the tuners do a great job. The 3 you listed have a great reputation. I can tell you without a doubt you will be happy with Protomotive. Another cool detail about the Protomotive tune is that you get 3 tunes with his price. I plan on adding upgraded vtg turbos later for one of my additional tunes.

Hope this helps.

Protomotive if you're good with remote. If you're close to emre, get your car to Istanbul and he'll take care of you.

I've Softronic in my car and I really like it! 0 problems, good price and is reliable. I'm not sure if I have 615HP in my car (never dynno) but the car is a beast for sure. Good luck in your search

If you're in Germany, try Ruf or Fvd.

I live in europe and have Protomotive combo with cargraphic exhaust. The engine gives about 580 hp. My car does 200-300 km/h in about 6,3s.

Drivability is super and the car feel like NA. I have 1.0 bar as soon as i press the gas.
I drive on 98 fuel, tried with 95 and that gave about 80hp less. Wonder what Aral 102 fuel will give me.

I think that all seriours tuners have good software, softtronic, RUF, cargraphic etc.

If you from Europe you need PP-Performance

I always take Shell V Power 100 in my cars as Aral 102 is not available.

Ruf is too expensive, like mtm 9ff and others and with the last 2 i didnt have good experiences.

Jan Pat -

I also have the Cargraphic exhaust and am thinking of getting the Protomotive tune. Did you notice any change in the CG exhaust sound after putting on Todd's tune? The "NA" feel sounds great...want...but curious if the tune changes how cargraphic sounds at idle and WOT.

(thanks)
