I received a box of stuff that the car wasn't shipped with today, but no car yet. I've now detailed the spare key, owners manual folio, fire extinguisher, and washed the indoor cover. Just need the car to go with it, haha. This wait is killing me.

Matson delayed the car an extra week because they want it to go on one of their special roll-on roll-off vessels.

Congrats on the car purchase, think price is perfect for a low mile PCCB car.
Bonus is option 220, most do not need it but it is rare and therefore desirable for many.
Red is a great color for a turbo !

Don't sweat the adaptive's, I had those in my first turbo and did not care for them.
I have GT2 seats now and they are truly the best seats I ever had. No comparison !

Thanks! Regarding the price, I keep worrying that I paid too much, but when I look around for comparable cars/options, the price is on the lower end. I don't care about the adaptives because I'd rather the GT2 seats. There is a set on RL right now covered in sand beige. Very tempting, but in the end the regular seats are just fine for now.

And during my search I did find that the locking diff is a somewhat rare find. I'm happy the car has that. I find it very odd that people would order these $130k sports cars without that option.

Hmm, I just looked up the ad and noticed they originally came in black leather.
Those leather covers come with the seats and are brand new. The covers are easy to swap.
Not a bad deal if you ask me, for sure there will be some room to negotiate.

I bought used nomex tissue seats and had them redone in leather/alcantara.
They rarely come on the market used. If you like them I would not hesitate.
I bought the first set I found and have not seen any since then (I am in Europe).

Your seats look badass! I wish I could justify the Gt2 seats, but not right now after just buying the car. Plus there's really no need for them in Hawaii without any tracks. Someday...

Well guys, after a month long wait, it's finally here! What a finely built machine, I absolutely love everything about it. I've driven plenty of sports cars, but never a Porsche until I picked my car up at the port today. I quickly took it home and washed it, beating Flossie by a few hours. The car is flawless and in the same condition as when I saw it 6 weeks ago. I will post some proper pictures after it gets the loving detail it truly deserves. I purchased the Pinnacle Souveran kit from Auto Geek in preparation of the TTs arrival.

My garage looks like a tetris puzzle with 2 mopeds, 1 motorcycle, a truck, and the TT, but it all fits.

Wow that's low miles, haha. I'm dying to drive mine, but the weather hasn't been so great. I'm hoping it will clear up today so i can go for a drive.

The only thing that isn't perfect on the car is the front lip. My dealer has one in stock, so I will buy a new one in the next few days when I get a chance to run over to Honolulu. Their price is ridiculous, but its still cheaper than Suncoast after shipping.

I love the way people take cars out and redline them on test drives. This car was redlined right before it was sold to you. Not that the numbers look terribly bad. Kinda wish mine was red, looks SO nice. Enjoy!

Yeah, I figured the car was driven hard right before I bought it, but I took my chances (if you want to call it that). It wasn't heinous, and these motors are built for abuse, so I'm not too worried about it. It does blow my mind that someone would do that to a car that isn't theirs though.
