911 Owner's Worst Nightmare NO BOOST

I have a 2009 997.1 6 speed with sport chrono, 13,000 miles all stock minus a Fabspeed Version 3 exhaust with 200 cell cats. Runs like a champ and has never had any issues until a couple of days ago. I was enjoying a nice day of spirited driving until I was entering an interstate on-ramp and put the gas pedal down to the floor and to my shock my boost indicator read 0 as I pulled throughout the entire rpm range and obviously had no feeling of boost and no power. Thought I was day dreaming or "losing it" so I get in the fast lane, put it into 3rd and floor it again with a big 0 for boost (felt like crying at this point as though someone had taken my Tonka truck when I was a kid...lol). I attempted a few more pulls in different gears at wide open throttle hoping the check engine light would illuminate to find out why such was occurring however it never illuminated. I pulled to the side of the interstate turned off the car, restarted and took off in 1st, 2nd, 3rd with full boost and everything was back to normal. Curious if anyone had this issue before and would be thankful for some input. Thanks.

Most likely your boost hose just popped off. Shouldn't be a big deal to fix. Happens a lot on the 997.1 from what I hear. The newer ones have a "lip" to keep it from happening.

It went back to normal after turning the car off, so it can't be a loose hose.

Do you have an ecu remap , becuase I hwve read that in the ecu remap they change the parameters of the fuel pump , and I think it will decrease fuel pump life

Thanks for the input guys. Ye when I turned off the engine and restarted it the car ran fine afterwards. I'll check the hoses anyway just to make sure. The ECU is stock and there are no modifications. Maybe with the high flow exhaust it's trying to tell me to flash it.

Sometime when you turn your car on , does the engine behave strange and the rpm goes crazy ?

There was NO check engine light illuminated when the incident occurred. I was hoping there would be, so that I could determine what was caused the 0 boost condition.

Thanks for the advice handdoc. Do you know if it will show up as a stored obd2 trouble code or something further?

Let us know what the fault codes are found. This is an odd one.

Def not worst nightmare, large bang and bits of metal coming out of the rear end would be my worst nightmare, or waking up in jail sharing a cell with Aaron Hernandez
