Kline Exhaust
Thanks Leo!
Before I bought my TT, I was looking at a Lambo Gallardo like yours at the Penske dealership in Scottsdale Az. It was an extreme low mileage pearl orange late model, a convertible, absolutely perfect. Beautiful interior was black w orange accents and stitching. Asking 180K. I was reluctant to sit in drivers seat because of recent total hip replacement, but it truly was one of the most impressive automobiles I have ever set my eyes on! We leave the showroom and spend some time at the attached Penske two story museum.
But we return, and I was actually convinced by my better half to take a test drive in order to make a possible purchase offer.......that is, until I finally sat in driver's seat. At about 6'4" and 275+, I squeezed in there and tried to convince myself I was comfortable....then I attempted to get out and couldn't, try as I might, lol. We were all still crying from laughing so hard when my nephew and my wife managed to drag me sideways out of the seat. I still chuckle about that embarrassment and imagine they still talk about it at the showroom. They also sold Bentleys there, so they were a bit of an uptight group and probably saved their laughter until their lunch hour, thankfully!!
For the lack of a few inches of legroom (and a few pounds less), I might have joined you Leo on the Gallardo owner's list and forums...
Fast forward a few weeks, and I consoled myself w the purchase of my TT. Now I just follow your lead as I contemplate a few mods!
Keep posting my friend!

Funny!! i know the feeling my friend, i'm 280 pounds, 6'2 tall.... i'm not really comfortable but it's not the most uncomfortable car i ever owned, my 2006 Viper was the worst... i couldn't even close the door and seat stray... but i have a great mental power!!! i always convince myself that i'm comfortable!!! even if i'm extremely uncomfortable lol...
To be honest with you i find my Gallardo OK... but i agree with you and i can see why you bought a 997TT... the 997TT is way more confortable (and faster) but the Gallardo sound way better (unless you get EUROPIPE lol)
Love your car brother! it's a very unique 997TT! if i find a really good deal like a 997 GT2 or a 997 TURBO S SPYDER EDITION I WILL BE PAR OF THIS FORUM AGAIN lol

You have some of the best looking 997 Porsches in your website! I'm sorry to use your cars as a good example!! Lol

I'm glad to have them in our lives
We have several customers with 700+ HP engines and none of them have encountered cat failures.
Besides we've had zero issues since we started building these 997 Turbo exhausts in 2006.
Nothing is going to melt. Each turbocharger has a temperature sensor and the ECU reduces the turbo boost and adjusts the fuel mixture when the maximum temperature of 980 ° is reached.

That is a pretty easy solution.
If you are just using stock sensors how are you not throwing CEL at normal rpm ranges? Because if you arent melting a cat you must not be using a true 100 or you are using materials that melt at a MUCH higher temp.
Melting cats is not because of a sustained rpm. Its usually the temp gets so high so fast the sensors cant stop the exhaust already on its way to the cat. So the Cat melts then and at the same time the car goes into limp.
So you are reducing the power output? Do you provide other sensors? Also you must know that the tune is the main culprit in a cat melt as the sensors can only do so much to save you. If a cars tune as has too rich of an A/F ratio you are going to melt cats. A lot of tunes do run it rich as its safer and needed because of the forced induction. Too lean and you go bang, too rich and you melt cats, throw an CEL and dont pass smog, have **** economy, and more power.

I think Stef uses oversized 100cell to counteract the CEL issue and the cats he uses have a high content of a special material in it which is why his cats cost more than the others.
Im sure he will explain this better.
Thats good lifting.
I was doing that till I injured my RC
For the record you cant chew A-dex like skittles or your cholesterol levels will be fooked.
Seriously guys calm down and stop provoking each other
