Ok so there are new snails. I was going to say, pretty damn impressive numbers on the stock VTG's.

Impressive numbers regardless though. What's even better is the kit isn't full of a bunch of useless parts trying to justify a 30k price tag like some....

Pump or race gas? What octane? I'm not familiar with your pump gas options on that side of the pond. With the Brombacher Exhaust en route already you just might be turning me into an FVD convert across the board.

I use 99 Ron here in the U.k. In Germany they do have 102 but I have sent an email to ask what they used at the time.

Keep us posted. If that was on 99 RON then that is roughly the equivalent of the 94 AKI I run from the pump. Would be awesome to still run pump gas.

If it was 102 RON then I can't match that without race gas in this country.

I know when I left the car with FVD it had 98 octane but the tank was a bit low so maybe they topped it up with the same or 102.

Ill let you know ASAP.

I had this set up, my 997 was the car which with this kit was develloped at FVD's in 2007/8.
I was pretty happy a moment and felt it too smooth, tuning is a slippery slope, take care Nick!

But for now enjoy and congrats!

I'm not understanding what you're trying to say? The power band was smooth and that is a negative?

I always knew I wouldn't stop here P. lol

I just fitted this kit to experience it for the time being.

The car is much faster and still drives like stock if not better.

FVD as a company has done a nice job and they are a great bunch, ***** and the guys looked after me.

I know what slope im taking and if I could compare it to a slope it would be one of the slopes on Mt Everest

It's not a negative but for some people it's not a positive lol

Pascal got the kick he was looking for from alpha30's.

Some people need that and a built engine some people need more. Everyone has a BHP threshold.

No, I say when you start improving power you always want more and more, at least it is my case, and the first mod on my 997 was this kit...

You ran that power with proto tune?

What did you run with FVD tune?
