Well as some of you know I decided to sell my EVT775. Not because I didnt LOVE driving it but because the uncertainty of the EVT775 components was just plain keeping me up at night. I started looking at replacementslast week and finally stumbled upon this beauty....

3600 miles! Its basicly new!

I picked it up today at 2pm and put 100 miles on it...taking the LONG way to the gym. Compared to the 997TT its absolutely slooooow. As you can imagine that hardly matters at 8000rpm! Anyway...here she is.

 

Looks great..Congrats!! I've had mine for almost 4 years now and I still love it. You can't beat the sound of an LOC exhaust on a G ride.

Great pick-up! That's sad to hear that the EVT kit kept you from truly enjoying the car.. Looks like you got enough rubber on the G for a TT kit!

I dont think i'd ever seen you worrying about the TT, had something gone wrong or what specifically were you concerned with?

 

Car looks sweet. As I recall the tt and kit was an expensive nightmare so I can't blame you. Hopefully this one will treat you well.

 

Thanks all! The TT was actually running great when I sold it. We cleaned the MAFS, did and oil change, removed..cleaned..lubricated the DV's and rechecked all connections.. after a MAF code was thrown and the new owner reports no issues after a couple hundred miles. However w the issues the other EVT775 owners were having and the sheer amount they were spending I dint wan to be anywhere near that boat.
The new owner is making some SERIOUS changes and its gonna be a complete street sweeper when hes done. Stay tuned!

If you were running air filters that are oiled (e.g., K&N), your MAF issues could have been from the filter oil deposits. From what I have seen that happens quite a lot, but heck you got yourself one sweet looking ride. Have fun with it.
