Guys need your help, im confused and depressed. I parked my car to go down finish a meeting for like 10mins, came back and My multemedia wasent working , all of sudden no touch screen and no audio or what so ever! screen keeps going on and off, and its in german all of sudden. i turn it off then back on and still no use .

Took it to the dealership next day they took it in for 15mins as they say to reset it, and came back with the same problem i just ran out of warranty a month ago, its like a timed bomb as soon as the warranty finishes something comes up! now they say you probably have to change it to a new one! any suggestions guys? this is really getting me depressed! i was about to order my exhaust and tune and now this comes up. Costs around 5000 dollars for a new unit!

You mean PCM 2.1 is broken?

yeah Sorry PCM2 excuse me, my car is 2009 turbo! it just failed by itself 10mins before parking the car and going for my meeting my music and everything was working fine!

I would recommend you call or pm EMRE from Esmotor. He has alot of knowledge with PCM and is a board sponsor who might be able to share some experience.

Don't know if this helps but just a thought .

Maybe disconnect battery and re-attach and see what happens?

PCM2 is just the factory head unit right? I wouldn't pay $5000 to replace it. Just get an aftermarket head unit installed. Way cheaper.

Buy a used one. They come up for sale all the time. You might also try calling PCNA. Maybe they will help since you are just out of warranty.

If you buy a used PCM 3 you will lose all your factions like Navy ,Bluetooth ,USB.
Must you pay the activation of all of this.
What factions has your PCM 3?

i think have the older version on the 2007. on my model you can press and hold buttons 1,4,8 at the same time to reset the pcm. not sure if it is the same on yours.

What is the PCNA ?and how can I get a hold of em?

Yeah I have everything on my PCM3 so if I buy a used one there is no use of the options I or like Bluetooth USB and navi?
