Guys i have tested new coolers today on low boost 1,4 bar after traffic jam, car was very hot, today about 25C in Moscow. I have made few runs up to 250km/h so IAT was max 39C!
After i have checked my old runs with previous intake setup and another IC on same boost, outside temp was 27C, IAT was up to 70C!!! Lowest that i saw was 60
So yes, AMS intercoolers are working very well, next step to test on race fuel, it will be done before Moscow Unlim, 9-13 September

I don't want to tell which one i had before, because they are very good guys and make really high quality products. Now they have different IC than i had (old model)

Nice results!

But all my tests show the "hard" range is above 250kph with IAT, my actual 5" seem equal my 997.2's in that range by 25°C AT: Reaching 60°C after a few pulls to 300/310kph (when testing 100-300 times)

I have never logged any IAT's with my 6" Boost Logic's on my 996TT (Mine were the original R&D version). I can tell you in one night I made 10 passes in the 1/4 in a 3 hour period in 70+* weather and went 148-155mph on every pass I didn't have to abort. Actually I had a 10.07 @ 154 hot lapping the car 3 times. All these passes were on my built motor, GTX35's and 28-30psi.

I'll try to get Matt's 997TT out soon and have him make some pulls from like 60-130s or whatever we have free room to do. He also has the Boost Logic 6" intercoolers on his 997TT and it's paired with Alpha3076s. If he's got an empty tank still I'll put MS109 in it for him and get high boost IAT's.
