Thanks for the post.

Reset mine although it was fine.
I hear the adjustment being made at 30 sec (during the first 60 sec cycle) and then again during the 15 sec cycle.

SFZGT3 is infamous around these parts
Hi, all. I was hard(ly) at work when I clicked over to this thread from the 997 forum. I have a new to me 2007 997.1 C2S, runs awesome, no issues. However, if I ever did start experiencing the "sensitivity" symptoms, would this procedure apply to my car as well? I realize you are all talking about .2 Cars and TT's, so I wanted to ask if there is a similar or identical procedure for my gen.

TIA for your answers.

interesting and timely...to me

i have just changed out the heavy clutch helper spring under the dash, replaced it with a much lighter spring, per the thread in the 996 forum, and after doing this i have had the same problem, twitchy throttle, maddening, but only when the car is cold, at first i thought it was me, but it is really pronounced....goes away when she warms up...very strange, i will do this throttle reset tonight and see if it makes a diff....and if anyone is interested, it is an amazing difference in clutch action with the different spring...i was stalling the car when starting from being at rest on a regular basis, and i am really not a bad driver but could never get in sync with my car, HOWEVER .....THIS HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE...i can drive again...! like..... normal, anyway, i will let you all know if the throttle reset helps, and thanks for the info, i hope it works!

That is exactly what it is.

Give Todd K a call and he can most likely adjust the pedal to be less sensitive (kind of like a Sprint Booster).

Did this last night, and the results are pretty good

better throttle response off the line, and between downshifts.
