Reliability of 2009 911T

Purchasing a 2009 911T Cabrio and wondering what kind of issues these cars suffer from. It has 45K on the clock and it is very clean. That said, it is out of warranty so I want to know what to expect moving forward.

Thanks!

If you have manual transmission, maybe clutch accumulator. Otherwise pretty solid.

Check the tire pressure sensors, they can cost a grand to replace all 4.

I bought mine set at Suncoast for $400 plus change and then $100 to install. But some people go to the dealer and that is what the dealer charges. When he takes the car in for the PPI and they are low the dealer will quote that price. If he can get the seller to lower the price 1k because they will need to be changed then he is up $500.

I ordered toyo r888's and had Switzer install the new tpms with the tire switch. They charged me $520 for parts and $280 for installing sensors and mounting and balancing the new tires, so $800

I service my car there. They have really good prices on most of the stuff, but Todd did say $1,000 for all four tpms installed. I have no reason to make it up. Awesome shop though.

Get the '09. Very happy I got lucky and snagged it on the last year of production on this block - solid car, solid as they come. Like any vehicle, maintenance items for the most part. Don't sweat the small stuff - and yes, TPMS is small stuff and usually in the $400-$500 range.

But yes, extremely reliable, and as the last of the old GT1 block based turbos, should hold decent value...if that's a concern. Get it!
