Max wheel width and size for 997.1 turbo

Hello everyone, I recently purchased my first Porsche - 2007 997 turbo. I'd like to get some aftermarket wheels but I'm not sure on what wheel sizes will fit my car properly. I think I'll stick with 19s but I want to go wider to fill the wheel well. I'm considering the HRE P101s in brushed ti.

What's everyone's opinion on going with 20" wheels? I really like the look of the concave wheels.

I'll probably track the car once a year and lower the car about 20mm or so.

what about offsets?

If you have pics to share that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Good looking car. Any issues with rubbing? How much did your springs lower the car?

We suggest
20x8.5 +40
20x11 +55
20x12 +50

If you lower it, we suggest the 20x11.

Thank you

You're 8.5 f offset is aggressive

Your rears in both widths are not enough.

OP I've quite a bit of research on this topic. From what I've seen for 8.5 front go with 45
For 11 rear go with 33-36 depending on how aggressive you want it. For 12 rear just ad 12.7

I'm running et46 and 33 on 8.5 and 11

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. Depends on wheel manufacture and the concavity or depth of the wheels, the offset will range. We were just providing a based idea. We appreciate your input and hope that all of our information can assist TurboBoostin.

Thank you again and Happy Thanksgiving.

I know you asked about the 997.1 and you've already gotten a reply from dm620 running 13"s in the rear (wow!). But just as a datapoint (I think 997.2s should be the same?) I'm running 20x9 and 20x12, lowered, no rubbing.

RG5's are a reversed lip and the ones in the pic are stepped lip and look slightly concave (rears).

Those actually look more like HRE S101, but from the center cap it's probably another brand.

Just checked Zero911's previous posts: The wheel is: RSVforged 20x9 20x12 MSF1 Series 3
