Quote: I much prefer how the variocam solenoid attaches on that 997 engine versus my 996. It looks like on that 997 it could be replaced quickly with simple tools versus making tools for mine.
One of the solenoids on that motor is new. Its not simple w the motor in the car but can be done in a timely manner.

Quote: A guy named Nick from Houston owns it. I build a custom 1 off Titanium exhaust, mufflers from scratch for it. It's just me here by my self and yes all I do is custom fab work and machining.
That's some gorgeous work u do there sir!

Those welds, especially on aluminum, are top shelf.

Thank you! I do work for a company in AZ that one of the board members owns an aerospace company. I am hoping he can get me thick wall weld elbows in Titanium. Trying to have the strength of the thick material with the lightness of TI. I am supposed to hear from him today!

I have used them in 1500+hp supras for years and never an issue. Just go with what I know works. I know I have to machine the oil pump a bit.

Oh ok, yeah they are great rods. I asked because I've heard about the fabrication required for the clearance issue.
