E85 - Protomotive - 1000+ HP - HTA3586
Finally made it to the dyno...
Mustang Dyno - AWD (Temps were in 90s earlier to 100 later on in the day)
some baselines ...
wastegates - 12.5 psi - 537 raw 557 corrected AWHP / 543 raw 562 corrected TQ
low boost 1.48 BAR - 733 raw 798 Corrected AWHP / (forgot the sheet there but it was TQ matching
30 psi - 952 raw 987 corrected awhp /812 raw 842 corrected TQ and popped IC hose ..
Put the hose back on to get more runs ..higher PSI .. popped 2 more times ... then popped the TB to Y pipe hose .. and spark was breaking up top..
Huge THX to HD motorsports in Glendale, CA with all mechanical prep. I had a small fire and he dropped the motor and replaced/fixed everything . my GT3 intake manifold refused to stay attached to my heads at high boost.. we had straps from 4 corners - ripped the straps off. LAST time around he put 4 solid brackets and so far so good. Ernie at HDMS is a former mechanic @ at Porsche dealership
To Turbo Joe setting up the Dyno day and prepping my car on the dyno AND setting my boost controller up - wow - EBC guys - cant stress setting this up on dyno. My car was making peak boost then tapering off, but i never saw this on the Durametric bec on high boost it was never dropping below 2550 but that is about 1.5 bar BUT it was dropping from 30 psi to 25... Joe set it up and it barely drops half psi to red line. Guys at KOM Automotive where I used their brand new awd Dyno were super helpful as well, when my IC/TB hoses popped out - they provided tools and actually fixed them as I am not that Mechanic savvy. Food and drinks were just the icing
And lastly Todd K - just knows these cars sooo well. He had told me I'd probably have spark break up at 2.1-2.1 bar before I even bought the turbos over a year ago and BAM. I DO think my car is rich(ish) on lower boosts (11.4s) but I think he knows my low boost is OFTEN 1.7 bar and that is the real beginning of sweet-spot for my car...
Not sure if these are the expected numbers ... but they are my numbers
So far happy w the way the car feels - need to look into some better ignition solution.

They need to invest in some fans for the dyno.
