Question for PDK drivers

When in sport mode, in 1st gear and on rapid acceleration have hit rev-limiter, does pdk in turbos shift to second or does engine turn off?
On a boxster and panamera, I have driven when rev-limiter is hit, engine dies and even trying to flip into second didn't work. The car just lingered until computer made a decision. Just wondered if different for turbo in sport mode
?

I've never hit the limiter. The computer seams to always be perfect. Never had limp mode in this car. I'm always in sport on the street. Plus mode is like giving an 18yo Viagra

Depends. In SportPlus mode it shifts for you just prior to the rev limiter. In Sport mode + manual mode it his fuel cut off until you click the paddles. You gotta hit the paddle around 5,500 in 1st gear as there is a big delay between when you click to upshift and when it actually upshifts.
