I found if you place your thumb at the bumper to spoiler interface and then roll the bottom of the lip up towards you with your fingers(same hand)at each tab location it slips off. I tore the second tab off by trying to hard. Its about less power more finesse.

Thanks for all the info and help. I have attached a PDF of the official Porsche process to remove and install the Front Spoiler. Just in case it may help anyone.

Seems pretty straight forward.

The official Porsche process is not very helpful if this was all someone was going to use - no reference at all to the 2 screws that have to be removed at each end plus it says use a screwdriver to release the tabs - I'd be worried about scratching the paint. Buried in all these posts is enough info to properly and safely remove the lip.

Your car looks great. Very nicely done. However paint color of your lip is noticeably off. I know white is hard to match but someone definately can do better than that. Also I don't like bumper grille crest. Looks cheap and 99% of people would think it's a Ferrari logo.

I was too cheap to have the yellowing clear bra removed from the bumper and replaced, hence the off color. Leave it to the discerning eyes of 6speed members to spot it right away.

The badge is one of those deals where you bought it and might as well put it on 'cause what else can you do with it?. If I get tired of it or more people tell me my car is not a Ferrari then I'll remove it, lol.

Got mine done yesterday and a couple pics. Process...Scuffed with 320-400 grit. 3 coats of Plastic Adhesion Promoter (wet coats..10 minutes between coats). 3 light coats of black Sand-able Primer. Scuffed wet with 600 grit. Wiped with Prep-all cleaner and tack cloth....Basalt Black Metallic base coat...One heavy coat covered due to black primer!...2 heavy wet (no runs! ) coats of clear....Came out pretty good IMO. The fit is good, but I plan on pulling bumper cover off soon to get it perfectly aligned and fitted where the spoiler meets bumper apron.

Greasy - The white painted lip looks good. I'm with everyone else, remove the ferrari badge and the mesh grill. The wheels look good, you wouldn't happen to know what color finish they have would you? Maybe I will paint my wheels that color..

Sorry, don't know the color of the wheels. They came with the car when I bought it.

The badge does say Stuttgart and that's a dancing not prancing horse. Besides it adds at least 20hp. The mesh grill helps deflect air towards the radiator and I notice at least another 10 hp gained from more efficient cooling.
