Trim Upgrade suggestions needed

So I have just made the plunge and purchased a Turbos S. Very excited. Car will still be in winter storage for a couple more months but I know from my previous 996tt that I will want to upgrade a few trim items.

Car is Black on black with painted seatbacks and small carbon package (ie handbrake, shifter, cup holder cover) and a carbon mult-function steering wheel. The seats are black leather with alcantara seating surfaces.

My old 996tt had Carbon everywhere and was black on black and IMO looked fantastic and significantly more upscale (again just my opinion).

I have noticed that the 997 Carbon has a different weave and seems to appear a bit more grey than black in appearance compared to the 996. I am not sure if this is just a memory or lighting issue or actually real. If it is real and not my imagination - I am not as keen on the Carbon as I was before but still am a fan.

I am considering upgrading some of the the trim to painted black, or Carbon, or a combination. However I also know that if I do a combination the wrong way it can look a bit overdone/tacky as well. The trim I am considering is the Center Console, PDK surround, door latch surround, and the verticle door handles, and inside sills.

I was leaning towards all in Carbon, but given the painted seats was thinking perhaps the console in painted and the rest in Carbon? or all in painted (except sills- to easy to scratch).

Any photos or suggestion would be apprecitated. I have scoured the internet for photos but can't decide.

Thanks.

Email me. We have a few ideas we can toss your way, keep your budget in line, and tie in nicely with what you have.

Congrats on the beautiful TT.

Is the console painted or leather? Is the word turbo embossed on console lid?

I'd invest in wheels, tires, exhaust, and tune first! In that order. Put some CF pieces on the Christmas list. Then perhaps some mild suspension mods. Then wax a lot!!!

I have recommendation for company doing major cool leather wrapping of Porsche interior parts. I will find link in a few..

I will be having them do a deviating stitching leather wrapped ignition surround, light surround bezel, steering column, and other stuff. They are sending samples of leather and thread (orange) as we speak.
