i would recommend talking to a local tuner near you. Being in Cali i am sure there are plenty of quality places to choose from.

It seems you are sort of piece mealing parts together, which is OK, but in the end, the best performance will be a system that is comprised of parts that complement each other and works together. You can achieve that with many different company's parts, however at the end of the day companies often develop parts in sequence for use together and that will yield the best overall results.

All companies producing headers will have a dyno showing results, in general they will all be comparable, but depending on the mods you already have done or plan to do, you may or may not see the same results on your car.

I'd recommend talking to one of the experts - get their opinion. Then talk to another and get their opinion...then research that and look for similar set-ups to see if it will provide you the results you are looking for. Choose whoever gives you the most confidence and then pull the trigger.

Just my $.02

The stock headers are perfectly fine until you change the turbos and even then it's quite debatable as to whether you need them unless you go for AM turbos.

Is this something you intend to do?

Even with GT turbos you can modify the stock headers.
Some companies do it to save the client some money... But at that point... What's another 2 or 3K in a 20K+ build?

Well then it is best to decide whose turbos you will be fitting first in the near future and then buying a set of their headers IMO rather than doing a lot of mixing and matching!

Don't even consider GMG. They have a history of cracking and they won't back them up. I sued them last September, small claims, and won. If you go the header route, get a lifetime warranty which is written on the receipt.
I'm running in excess of 800hp and am consistently told the headers will not provide anything noticeable until after headwork.

OEM headers are fine for about ~750 hp. (ie, maxing out stock turbos).
however, aftermarket headers change the sound of the exhaust, for the better.

I have a set of Agency Power headers with Fabspeed exhaust, and I can vouch for the better sound. Not obnoxious at idle, but at WOT it sounds a lot deeper and louder than a 997 turbo with just exhaust done. Should have some videos up by next weekend.

Maybe thinner runners would make the car sound more like a v8?????
I would change mine just for that reason alone

THank you for posting your experience AND naming the part. It serves the community when people are able to learn from personal experiences
