What are you scared about?

You might not feel a big improvement but if you race another car you are going to see that you really have more power.
Do you go to trackdays? You are going to see that your times are lower.

If you can afford it, do it.

People are talking about 800hp+ as it's the norm these days and you are worried about a VTG upgrade.


Just get on with it you will love it. Imagine it as a similar jump in power to a stage 2.

Here in Spain we are only pioneers in the ebola

you say it's similar to changing from one stage I to stage II?

Well to me stage 2 is exhaust and software which by German standards takes the car from 480hp to 550hp and then the stage 3 is hybrids which gives you another 60hp but a much broader power band at the same time.

How expensive is a properly done 997.2TT motor build anyway?
