Best Mod Ever!

I just received my new steering wheel from DCT and it is simply the best mod I have done on the car so far. It really makes the car feel special, almost like driving a different car. Sorry for the crappy iphone pics but I was too excited to break out the real camera! Now for a couple more CF bits to tie it all together.

Looks awesome! I agree on the steering wheel just doing "that" much to the whole driving experience, I've changed mine in just about every car I've owned..

Plus just think its so "functional" if thats the right word where you are always using it , not just a mod that just sits in the corner for looks or aesthetics, etc. Makes it even feel more worth it.

Pretty good look!

Did you buy the wheel without the "centre" piece and transplant that from your existing wheel?

I have the same interior and am severely tempted.

Lovelyyyyy!

Is your steering wheel brown or black?

I've also done this mod to almost every car i owned, however my turbo now has a red steering wheel, so i don't think the steering guys will be able to match the leather color.

I bought just the wheel and transferred everything over from the old wheel (airbag, multifunction switches and module). It really makes the driving experience so much better.

Thank you! Now just need to add the CF center console and a few other bits. Little by little it is starting to come together.

Would this wheel upgrade void any Porsche warranty? I cant think of a reason why (unless installed improperly and directly causing the incident that required warranty use).

I wouldn't think it would, however I am out of warranty so it was not a concern for Joe.
