Thanks TT Surgeon, I agree. Both your and E55amg's recommendation were critical in selecting Gus and Technik 1 + rdrozd's very positive experience on his EP1 install, sealed it. My expectations were more than met.

Thanks SamboTT. The least I can do is share my impressions for others. This forum (and the numerous helpful member posts) has been and continues to be a great source of knowledge on p-cars (TT/S) for me.

You called it Chris! Dropped of the car in the morning, took the subway down to the office, wrapped up the day, took the subway back up to Midtown West, picked up the car and enjoyed a glorious ride home! As convenient as can be (only made better by Gus sending periodic text updates and install pics throughout the day)! Top notch guy! Gus and Technik 1 have secured my endorsement. I recommend them to anyone in the tri-state NY/NJ/CT area!

Domer, something tells me I'll be happy for years to come as well! As has been said many times before, this is the exhaust Porsche should have installed on the 997 TT/S right out of the factory!

Happy to read that you already enjoy your new exhaust!

Quote: Europipe claims gains between +18HP to +20HP/+16lb-ft to 18lb-ft on their exhausts.
That's on a 997.1 Turbo only! With a 997.2 TT or TTS there are no gains from our sport exhaust at the upper rpm range.
You get nice gains at low rpm and midrange and a sharper throttle response as well but near the top the ECU takes over and the gains are gone.
Once you've flashed your ECU you'll get another 25-30 hp extra at the upper rpm range from the exhaust alone on top of the output of the tuned engine.

Where to start, is it the build quality, the perfect fit, the SOUND, the improved power, the SOUND!!
Did you say .....the SOUND, that SOUND??

Thanks for the clarification Stef. I am seriously considering the ECU to fully extract the full potential of the exhaust and the engine.

That sound...it has to be heard to be appreciated! Simply amazing. Thanks Stef for a totally wonderful experience (the initial conversations before I even bought the car, the order process, the update on the build, the notification and tracking info for the shipping and the follow-up). Great stuff.
