Cocoa interior paint
Looking for a solid here.
Need to source a small amount of interior paint. Matt, cocoa, for my 997.1.
Typically, the soft paint has chipped in a few areas and I would like to touch up.
We don't have the tools/expertise where I live (UAE) to match and mix the right paint.
I've seen a few guys have had no problem getting a perfect match in the good old US of A...so was hoping someone might know the colour code for cocoa interior matt (satin?) and next time you're in the paint shop, grab me 50-100mls and ship it to me.
Of course, happy to pay for your services and cover all costs.
Help a guy out?

I don't know if it is paint or someone other type of pliable coating, unless you got the factory painted interior plastics then they should have the paint. I had a center console of my 05 Carrera painted at a shop Atlas Gray and it felt nothing like the original factory black console.
I recall reading on another forum (cant remember which one) that this is a big problem with Porsche.
No interior paints!
They dont even do a paint for volcano grey, that they use to paint the sport seat backs! Crazy stuff.
What these guys had to do was take a small interior part i.e ashtray cover, for paint matching at a hardware store, and they got a pretty good match in matt.

Hmmm..I wonder if this would work...

A paint for leather AND vinyl. they have one for "cocoa" (code 2552)....maybe it can be used on the trim too. I've emailed them. Await their reply.

What I have done and it's worked great. Go to a hardware store that mixes colored paints for you. Bring a piece from the car that they can color match or use one of their color tabs to match it up yourself. I had the beige interior I did this with and it came out great. Lowes or Home Depot for example.

Tried that yesterday at the local (and only...) hardware store. They had a very basic, handheld paint matching device that the guy had to use whilst sticking the reader and painted piece in a dark drawer. Cam back with a colour closer to straw than cocoa....we just don't have the service in the UAE!
I know this is an old thread but I recently had a local company "Color Guard" come to my house to respray my ash tray cover and the work, texture and color are all top notch. This is on Cocoa to boot...
The best way to repair the 'soft touch' crappy finish is to find a top notch leather repair guy in your area (other dealers like MB, BMW, Lexus, Audi, etc). They usually have a common source who visits the dealership and repairs leather and related parts.
The top guys (I know a few) can respray and match the soft touch plastic finishes and do a fine job. Nearly every CPO car in the US has had this done. Some crappy, but most very well done.
See if you can find that go-to guy these top dealers use (ask service managers) then reach out to him directly. They will do some test spray outs to see if color is matched, then they have to mix the rubberized paint to respray (masking off areas).
