Center Lock Wheel Aesthetic Question

My car is all black with black wheels as you can see from my avatar. It's a small thing, but the center lock has a white background around the Porsche emblem. I searched, but I didn't find anything on this topic. Has anyone changed the white or even the entire lock part? I think it might be nice all black except the emblem. I guess it can be painted as well, but unsure if it would hold after even one tightening? Thanks.

I like the CL in a different color. wouldn't be able to see it as well if it was all black. I would go with Red but that's just me

Agree with you totally! Just last week I ordered a set of black ones from suncoast myself. Asked my dealer about getting some through them (just to be certain of quality in such an important part) and they said the last ones they tried to get took a year and a half to arrive!

Also, be careful as the ones from suncoast may be from before the recall and say the incorrect 500Nm of torque. Make sure you torque to 600Nm if you are doing it yourself.

I'm actually looking at the red ones now too on Suncoast. I'm going to take my time deciding but I may do the red locks and then get the center emblem on a black background instead of the white. In fact, I'm definitely changing the Porsche emblem to black background regardless of the lock color.
