Considering modifying a '09 Turbo

I would be interested the pro/cons of modifying the above turbo. Do the mods significantly add to engine wear so shorten the life of the engine or no impact. I know the turbo is plenty fast to start with but always interested in increasing the level of enjoyment, fast, sound and handling.

Also interested in where to start (exhaust, chip, suspension etc....) and what are the recommended upgrades. Thank you, just traded in a '04 C4S for the Turbo. I had upgraded the C4S with headers, cold air intake, short shift, chip, and radar defense so hated to see it go but think I am really going to enjoy the turbo. Thanks for any suggestions and recommendations.

there are members on here with built motors and extreme modifications and have been running high powered setups without issues. The 07-09 mezger engines are solid! You picked up the best because '09 comes with the upgraded PCM.

Start with an exhaust and a tune together, then move on to upgraded intercoolers before doing suspension upgrades. You'll enjoy the power bump

kongstang is infamous around these parts
I did the BBI B8e package. Researched/rode in a lot of cars before doing. I wanted daily drivable, road race, straight line speed, reliable and fuel mileage. I test drove one 1 year before I modded mine. 1 year later, the car was still running and being raced w/o problems.
Mine has about 5k on it now. No problems. I've raced Tx2k, drag track and soon our road race series. Can't wait. It's as fast as you should go without going into the internals. It made a true 740whp Mustang dyno. My favorite car currently. I have lots faster but this one is so balanced, so perfect.
