Alphas on the 997 - anyone have a check list? Advice?

This seem to be a bit more complicated than the 996, since you have to go back to the old-school push-rod actuator style and EBC.

For those who have done it, can you chime in with some advice.

I am thinking of the following:

-I need a line kit from one of the vendors (already in the works)
-EBC to control boost, obviously. Thinking the Plex-Tuning or AMS 1000 setup
-A y-pipe with BPV Bungs
-BPV's and flanges that'll fit

For the BPV's, I figured an IPD y-pipe will allow me to weld in some BPV flanges and attach two (insert brand) valves. I need something fairly small to fit in the bay, not like the huge Tial setups.

I am looking for recommendations from those who have done this. My goal is response, not huge hp. I am after 675-700 wheel with near instant response.

All supporting mods are already in place

Thanks!

I'm at 714 wheel with modded 65 vtg that is conservatively tuned. I'd like boost sooner. Hence the alphas.

Where did you install bypass valves?

You just use wastegate pressure or did you use an ebc?

I am also concerned with a BOV vs BPV. I did not plan on going blow-through.

I also ran mafless. I installed diverter valves into the intercoolers, and used an electronic boost controller. Worked very well!! I got diverter valves and flash from todd @ protomotive

Possible to run with a MAF?

I saw AMS had some inlet pipes that have ports for the BPV.
