Real Mods for the 997.2TT
With the tune+plenum on 91, I ran the Italia and McLaren from 40mph to 140mph. It would be nice if you could do the same runs on your pump gas tune and then we could compare the videos.
Yes my half mile result at the Shift Sector Coalinga airstrip was 166.05 mph.
webcarconnection you need to look at all the possible bolt-on parts working together as a "system" rather than adding one part and seeing if just that one upgrade benefits the car by its self. For example if you upgraded to larger turbos then they will push out a larger volume of air(and head) and will produce A-hp but if your factory intercoolers are no longer efficient for the new turbos then larger intercoolers will make A-hp + B-hp. But if you use stock turbos and just went strait to a larger intercooler when your factory intercoolers were plenty efficient then you will see no gain. The same can be said with plentums, y-pipes, exhaust and so forth.
+1, you'll net some HP because of the lower IATs, but an intercooler upgrade is going to be more noticable with the consistency since you'll be running a more aggressive tune. Realistically you could probably run the GIAC full bolt on tune that LongBoarder has, but do not expect the car to run consistenly & heat soak after a full WOT pulls.
Nice finds on the 6MT 997.2s, had no idea they made that car without the PDK.

Yeah, most of the time is like that... will see how it goes with my next mod

)I already have COBB, I like the AWE IC's (they are VERY similar of Champion ones) and I bet we can get to the numbers they are getting
LongBoarder; what was your whp and wtq on the mustang dyno?
yes I know... It will be interesting to see other options too, I'm gonna use other combo than Champion & GIAC (nothing against them
)
