991 steering wheel with MF controls

Does anyone know if a 2012 991 wheel will interchange with a 2012 997.2 wheel? I found a 991 wheel with MF controls-picture looks identical to my 997.2 but I called two dealers and they say although the wheels look the same they have different part numbers.
thanks in advance

It's compatible but you will need a new steering wheel control module to use the mf and in some instances horn functionality . It's around 200$.

FYI wheels are identical outside the pn's
