Cam sleeve slip/repair. What else should I do while engine out?

Last week while driving with my son(in a spirited fashion) the check engine light popped on. Thought it would be the MAF like I experienced in my 996tt, but not the case after a code reading. Dropping car at the dealer tomorrow for the repair; glad I bought the First Mile Warranty!
So, what else should I have them do while lump is out? The car has GIAC flash, BMC, Fabspeed exhaust, and Tubi headers. It's a tip.
1. Forge DVs?
2. New plugs? car only has 16k miles and it's a 2007.
3. Silicon hoses?
4. FVD plenum?

Any help much appreciated. TIA.

Definitely look at the coolant pipes. Do a search there's quite a bit of info on it.

Thanks. Had one split in turn 1 at Sebring on my 996t. Flatbed back to Naples sucked.

Plugs and coolant pipes. The rest doesn't really give you any gains IMO. The intercoolers are solid. Maybe vtg's and a tune? Depends on what kind of power you want.

since the engine is down put on upgraded turbo inlet pipes (talk to member prodigymb, he may have a spare set for a reasonable price). This will help futureproof you in case you want more power later. Are you getting the camshafts pinned or replaced under warranty?

It's a warranty repair so they won't pin them right? Not sure what that means anyway but I saw it mentioned a few times. thanks

For sure get the coolant pipes pinned, even if you have to pay extra for it.

The dealer won't pin them and they will spin again. Have protomotive or Evoms do it. $500 and it will be fixed..

Just to clarify, there are 2 items that can be pinned - camshafts (the 2 intake camshafts) and coolant lines. Warranty will replace camshafts so theoretically this could happen again. I had my bank 2 camshaft replaced under warranty a couple of years ago. So far so good.
