NY/NJ/CT DIY crew meet?
Hello!!! I hope everyone reading this is well. I recently bought a higher mileage 997.1 turbo....1000 miles on it already and loving every minute of it.
I daily drive from upper Manhattan out here to Greenwich so I get a good hour to hour and a half of driving everyday.
I am new to Porsche and, but not new to working on my own cars. I still have the fear of touching my car because it is a Porsche. It is a fear I want to overcome as there are already a few items I want to tackle (shifter, slave cylinder).
All that being said....is anyone else interested in setting up a meet of locals here to help share ideas, horror stories, scars...anything really? The internet is great and this by far is the most enthusiastic forum I have come across for these cars.
If someone knows of a meet like this that already exists then please share so that I may join in on the fun as well.

I had to drive out to Virginia to pick mine up....but the hunt is worth it. Patience!

I would be up for a tri-state meet & quick run! If the weekend of Sept 20-21 then Saturday 20th works better for me...
