born2boost is infamous around these parts
Wow this is impressive! Well done!

I have a 997.1. Are these type of figures also possible with my car?

Depends, kinda. There is definitely a difference between 6mt and tip and a tip is obviously not going to be as fast as a PDK. Also he had a Turbo S so he is already starting with 50+ HP.

So a stock MT 997.1 is what like 11.9@118?
Stock tip close but maybe like a 11.7?

So with the same mods (tune, exhaust, ICs, and Y-pipe/plenum) i would expect a 997.1 to be around an extra 100hp and .7-.9 faster so maybe 11.0-11.2. That is obviously all speculation and bench racing so this whole conversation doesnt hold a lot of weight.

There was a thread about a 997.1 with exhaust, injectors, and cobb running e85 getting 610hp. I would expect that to be in the 10's but still not touching the Turbo S from this thread. Thats just my opinion though.

Bringing this thread back.

This is pump 93 right with no additives or no addition of any ethanol? No meth either? 133mph trap on pump 93? Is this a tune you'd run all day everyday?

So on a 997.2 PDK, Cobb + bolt ons on pure 93 octane can trap 133mph? This is a glory run or do you expect results on every pass like this?

I find it hard to believe since a maxed out FBO GTR on E85 runs this type of trap. Maybe it's the weight difference?

Straight Shell 93 no additives. Ran this map, 10.3 @ 133 prob at least 15 times on 3 different track days. One 10.2@134 on a cooler night at atco. Ran it daily with no issues or knock. No meth, no weight reduction and definitely far cry from a glory run setup. Never had a chance to make a race gas map unfortunately but would have loved to seen what it would have done no meth. This was a great setup and felt awesome on the street.
I have a much different setup now and meth

Believe it brotha...believe it.

FYI, this past Saturday, I took my '11 TTS to our local 1/8 mile track...and made two passes - 6.67@106.XX & 6.64@107.XX For those who do not know, the 1/4 conversion is: 10.34 and 10.29 at 133.6 and 134.8 respectively.

It was a nice 60F day...both runs on stock BS tires, 30psi front and 32psi rear...on Shell 93 pump gas. I'm 5'10 and 172lbs. I have a Promotive tune (NO race gas or meth) tunes, EP exhaust with cats, IPD plenum and Y-pipe, BMC filter and Protomotive big 5" IC's. That's it! I usually run secret gas mixes, but mainly in the summer for extra safety.

I didn't planned to race; attended track to help a friend with his 5.60's 1/8 mile (8sec 1/4 mile) Mustang, but when he started to chase an NOS gremlin, I said screwed it, let me play a little and made two passes. I may go back this Saturday if track opens again. I'm on vacation until Jan 4th...so I have some free time

Thanks,
E-Gear

Wow I'm amazed... thanks guys! This platform is quite awesome. The turbos seem to be able to support 23ish PSI from what I read without blowing all hot air.

This car's fast with just bolt ons!! The fuel system looks easily capable of supporting bolt ons as well on pump.
