You're absolutely right. Timing is always adjusted to be at MBT whenever other variables such as boost are changed. Which way you can/should go always depends on octane used.

Thanks Dzenno for your excellent service and honest, thorough advice. Looking forward to installing the 3barTAP sensors and new exhaust and having a custom "ProTuning Freaks" tune on my 997.2 TTS!
