Still had the pulsing in 5th and 6th gear though. May have to log this thing.

Log throttle plate activity. Given colder weather the DME may be closing throttle due to slight boost overshoot. What tune are you running on it currently?

Thanks Freak, I have the Evoms 580 tune and have been working with them on this issue. I have another thread on this issue for over a year now.

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...pull-only.html

I haven't seen a change with temperature regarding this issue.

I have Durametric Pro for logging and am currently studying on how to use this feature.

It does sound like throttle closures given what you're hearing .boost control may need cleanup or your diverter valves may be faulty. Log TPS under WOT in those gears and report back and we can discuss.

Just want to add, I also have been experiencing this issue.
I mostly just figured it was misfires due to old coils...
No misfire codes or anything; The one thing I didn't think to check was the throttle plate position and it appears dead on. Now for the Spring to verify that this is my issue.

Happy I placed the order PTF!.

Thanks Dennis, in attempt to resolve this issue, I have changed my BRV's to a new set of forged BRV's with a stiffer (yellow) spring installed. I see this issue when the car is under high load in high gears.

I'll log this as soon as the snow melts.

Ignition breakup will sound quite a bit different. Its also not as easy to pick up on in the logs. In any case when in doubt always 1) check your codes 2) datalog.

Thanks for the order Mitchy, look forward to working with you

Mitchy,

I just replaced my plugs and coils. I also replaced my clutch with a ERP triple carbon. I believe I have something related with the airflow or fuel that is unequal.

PTF, has a great reputation for their support on this forum. Your in good hands!

AFAIK we on the forum just refer to them as gt2rs intercoolers but infact they are just 997.2 coolers. I assume the 997.1 gt2 just uses the same ones we currently use on the 997.1.

Does it happen on part throttle or full throttle?
What rpm?
