What's up fellas. Who do you guys think will win a 60 -130 run, a bone stock 991 turbo S vs a 997.1 auto, with a bbi tune, ipd goodies, gmg exhaust with 200cell cats and with race gas.

 

I figure about even, maybe a slight edge to the 997.

 

I think the only place he could take you is off the line. You should have the advantage until he tunes too.

I sure will! The race is between my two friends. I have a AWE750r kit catless with a fvd exhaust. My car won't have any issues going against the 991TTS. Should have some videos soon. Thanks guys!

Depends on your shifting 100%

 

The run between my friends is gonna come close. But my car puts out around 100 more hp to the wheels on pump gas than the stock 991TTS. So I don't think it's gonna come down to my shifting. And in all reality we're not gonna let off at 130 we'll probably run it to 150-160. I'll easily beat him on pump gas. If I put vp-110 the beast awakens and it'll destroy it..

Same here I wanna see the video when it's up. Though 100hp power difference surely guarantees a win for the 997.1

 

Looking at upgrading my awe 650 s to 750r and your video will be a big factor in deciding whether to do it or not? Waiting for the video..........

I would say the 991 from a dig is going to always get the jump on a 997.1 due to launch control and PDK. After that, the 997.1 TT's you described should put it away (Unless similar mods were on the 991 perhaps).

997.1 TT's properly modded are pretty beastly!
