Reviews on fabspeed exhaust
What's up fellas! I'm having a hard time finding a decent used exhaust. I'm thinking of buying a new fabspeed 70mm race exhaust with a x-pipe. Does anyone on this forum have this setup ?
Don't mean to start this debate all over again but strength in dollar is making europipe more attractive.... I bought europipe earlier last year when euro was over 1.40 to the dollar.
Down to 1.18 today so you are saving over $700 U.S., and you are getting an exhaust that imho is much better than fabspeed.

There are a lot of weekend racers using the Fabspeed. There are also a lot of guys that read forums that decide X is hte best and you are a loser if you do anything but what they think is best.

So is your iphone and most products.
they weld the exhaust anywhere in house. Then again like my Gold Mechanic ( only one in 300 miles ) uses fabspeed on his race cars and likes them I wont comment on what he says about other brands that guys that post on a forum gush about. And that last Fabspeed thread was started by people that like to start problems.
Ask people why they like something and they will stutter around how they heard its the best and has the best sound oooh oooh oohh, it was made in a different place. Point is they babble on and on but have no real clue why they are saying one is better.
You get the sound you like X pipes are VERY good Fabspeed makes a really good X pipe.
Get the one that you like the sound of.

So I am happy with it, and felt it was reasonable priced....FWIW. Just a data point.

So that's it in a nutshell. Some research of past threads on Fabspeed should provide some very entertaining reading.
And that Member is a hanger on of another member that likes to push his own personal product on others and you are a fool if you dont get it.
And a lot of "calling out" was by members defending the other brand. Interesting that the builders of the exhaust in question didnt respond but let people that don't build exhausts or know how to defend them. He can't name the parts made in china and they are not welded in china.
People like Kwik are saying that Fabspeed's exhausts are made in china, leading you to believe the exhaust is completely made in china, are there parts from china sure, there are parts from china in about everything. That is False but I will let him peddle his BS I am sure he has that "other" brand of exhaust.
If I recall the same group of "members" were bashing another exhaust for being made in eastern Europe. I dont get the deal these bigots have with " OMFG there is a part made by NON WESTERN EUROPEAN HANDS" As if a chinese or eastern european isnt good enough to build a part.

I agree. I actually have a Fabspeed Maxflow 3 and HJS 200 CPI Cats and I like them very much. Of course everyone has a preference and opinion and this is just mine....No X-pipe, so I cannot comment on that....But it looks like quality stainless steel, the welds look good, & it fit perfectly. Love the sound, and it has lasted and held up very well for quite some time....Oh and there was a performance gain due to the high flow cats...

Unless you want to drop 10k on a titanium one. The Dyno numbers from the 3k Fabspeed and 6k+ other brands are pretty close and in some cases the 6k+ pipe in making the sound some guys like cost power, not a significant loss but its still interesting that you have owners of carrera GTs, Gt2's, GT3s, 700awd usable track 996s and 997s, all using fabspeed, and all at the track every weekend.
Not saying its the best exhaust, but for the money the power increase and sound is legit.
