Interested in a Loud Exhuast

I have the standard quite version of Techart Exhaust on my recent purchase of a 2010 Turbo already. I have been researching exhaust systems and need some advice.
Would I need to change my existing Cats assuming they are by Techart?
Can the center piece be changed only or do exhaust systems come with cats as a combo package?
Is there anyone close to south Orange County that has a nice sounding exhaust that I can listen to before making a decision? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks a lot.

We produce a 3" exhaust for the 997.2TT. It is available as a catless "RACE" version (loudest) or with our own hi-flow HJS catalytic converters. I am not familiar with the Techart 997.2tt exhaust (my guess is that it probably uses the OEM cats or an equivalent sized cat outlet and piping). If you want to take a picture and email it to me, I can confirm it for you. We produce "center muffler only" systems that can be used with the OEM cats or equivalent aftermarket cats AND we also furnish entire systems, either catless or catted with our cats. All systems are available in either standard 2.5" or optional 3" (loud).

Below is a full system pictured. It's our 3" X-Pipe, catless center muffler delete, that we recently produced for a customer....

Hey there!

So we have done quite a few different versions of exhausts for the 997 Turbo's. Is yours a 997.2 or 997.1?

Either way, since you using the TechArt Exhaust, you can go with a high flow cat (which most aftermarket exhaust system's use) which will give it a much more aggressive sound. The other solution would be to go with a complete solution aftermarket exhaust which includes the cat sections. We have done it both ways with various companies like AWE, GMG, TechArt and Tubi/Champion.

Shot you a PM.

Grab yourself an FVD export loud. By far one of the best sounding systems for the turbo.

If BBI isn't on your list they should be. I have their exhaust on my 996 Turbo and as soon as my 997T gets here I'm taking the Europipe off and putting BBI's exhaust on.

Can you posted some additional photos showing the whole system?

If these cats are in the OEM location and used OEM flanges, you can swap in this Fabspeed X-Pipe exhaust and save some $$$ by utilizing your current cats and tips.

We carry KLINE exhausts and highly recommend them to our customers looking for a very finely tuned sound experience that rids the car of the oem vacuum sound. Exhausts can be customized for mild or race type setups and there are choices of boty Stainless Steel and aircraft grade Inconel. We are a Premium kline distributor and have the best price available currently on them. Let us know if we can help. sales@protuningfreaks.com

Hello Fabspeed. I heard from someone that the factory cats are 600 Cel and that the after market cats are high flow 200 producing more power and sound. If that's the case, will your exhaust be quiet with the factory Cats in place or not really?
Thx
