997.2tt exhaust tip options...

I've been searching for some decent exhaust tips for my exhausts, but there doesn't seem to be many options for the 997.2tt DFI exhausts (techart, fabspeed,?).

Any suggestions? If you went with techart tips, where did you pick them up?

With spring around the corner, I need to get moving with some more mods

I would like to see an installed pic so I can see how they fill the stock opening. Also please PM pricing and finish options. I do like the super gloss metal pictured. Is that chrome or Polished Stainless?

Cargraphic carbon tips

Time to resurrect this thread! I bugged Cargraphic for about 6 months to release a new set of carbon tips for the .2 turbo. Finally got a message from Michael there and got a great set of carbon tips direct from them. Great craftsmanship, great carbon layup and great fit. A slight side exit look, like the GT2 makes them really unique. The carbon surrounds the metal, yet isn't in contact, so it doesn't get hot. Just what I was looking for. Contact them for more info. Tell them I sent you!

Very nice looking tips. What was the price? It looks like they still spit the airflow in half though which is the problem with these aftermarket tips.

I am in the search for some exhaust tips also, will probably be going with Speed Tech and getting ceramic coating at my local PC guy.

Fabspeed 3" tip diameter
AWE 3" tip diameter
Speed Tech 3.5" tip diameter

The Speed Tech price cannot be beat, call John!

Manuel

Splitting the airflow? How does that make a difference. For the price, check with Cargraphic - about $800. Pretty huge value given the alternatives.

Agree - I don't even know what "split the airflow in half" means, let alone what problems it could cause??
