I was wondering if there's any flex fuel kit available for 997.1TT.
I know Cobb has flexfuel available for GT-R and which I'll be getting it for my GT-R this spring.
I'm thinking about picking up another 997 and have E85 tune so it would be great to know if there's any kit or tuner who can do flexfuel set up.

What is necessary to switch the car over to E85? Is it just injectors, Cobb AP and the tune? Or do we need to change out fuel pumps, tanks and lines?

Injectors and a tune. Requirements will change with power and fuel demand. We are not ones to suggest building 1500hp fuel systems to fuel 700. Minimum changes and only when and where required with quality parts that get the job done without compromise. Fuel systems are one thing we see often times guys just way overbuild for what they actually need

well with stock turbos, ID1000's is plenty on E85 with a stock fuel system, not sure when you need to do anything more, ppl are running ID1300's as well with Champion 68mm's. Seems to me you don't need to do much on fueling except injectors on a 997.1

You certainly can, but it is on the unpleasant side of things.

That would be awesome. Jealous of my buddies that can come to a race event spending $2 a gallon on gas that can make more power than $20 a gallon race fuel.

I was planning to do it myself, but got a sweet price for service+clutch swap+injectors so I didn't.

But I think if you get the Cobb ID1000s that are plug-and-play and follow the DIY by Rock to lower the engine it should be ok to access them.

Yeah.....just getting a realistic budget in mind to do this right. I read above that ID1300 injectors were overkill for the 997tt. I wanted to highlight that these injectors do indeed flow 30lbs more....but they also have full stainless internals. My Subaru friends who are on E85 use them exclusively to leave a little on tap for future upgrades...but also because of this difference in materials internally.

part number for plug and play: <table width="583" class="hoverTable" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td>1300.15.01.48.14.6</td><td></td></tr></tbody></table><table width="583" class="hoverTable" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td></td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>
