I can see how this can get $$$$....real fast.

So new injectors = engine drop = I midas will pin/weld all the coolant necks = upgrade clutch

lol. Thank goodness the car is a dream to drive stock while I save.

Well yeah but clutch most people do anyways even with an exhaust and an off the shelf tune 93 octane tune.

You can think about it this way too: "I should pin my coolant pipes for maintenance reasons and easiest is to drop the motor to do it. Since I'm doing that I'll throw some great injectors and cooler plugs at it now especially if original plugs have some mileage on them now, and if I feel like it I can try some of that corn in the tank and see what its all about"

I paid $2000 for labour (injectors, service, clutch) in Sweden so add $ for a sachs clutch + injectors and you would be closer to $5k

Yea but like has been mentioned if you are doing all this to add injectors for e85 then you are gonna need a tune, exhaust, and intercoolers too basically and the absolute cheapest you could get all of that would be about 5k w/used parts so 10k total isnt far off. Probably a little more actually.

I added up everything and my setup ran me about $10k. I did save money by not having to buy an exhaust, which is 4500 from AWE with tips. That 10k includes a few grand in preventative work and maintenance too though: Coils, water pump, coolant fitting pinning, sharkwerks pipes, fuel filter, new main serpentine belt, new rear main seal, etc.

Not sure how I missed this thread. Holy crap you are faster than me with stock turbos. Guess I'm going to have to get back at it .

Also, saw some people asking about injectors with the engine in the car. Yes it's possible. I did it. No you don't want to do it.

Haha, thanks man. Your car is faster than mine though. A little more work and you will have it in the 5s for sure.
