Thumbs up Advice on selling my 997.1

Figured I'd ask you guys before I throw it on eBay. After thinking about this over the winter I've realized I really don't drive the car at all. So why keep it taking up space in the garage. So I think it's time to sell it, it's an 07' Black/Black sports crono TIP. Car is pretty clean, good car fax. Only paint work is I had the front bumper done before I had the new clear bra put on. Would I be better off selling it in "stock form" or leaving it with the Cobb Tune, AWE exhaust, AWE Intercoolers and HRE's on it?

I've been reading on here about the 997.1's maybe going up in value over the next few years. Should I hang on to it for a year or so more? Car is paid for, still under extended warranty for 3 more years. It's on storage insurance, so thats pretty cheap. I really don't want to sell it, but it just seems like a waste sitting there. Hell last year I put maybe 1700 miles on it.

thanks guys!

If it was a manual it may go up in value. Not the tip.

I believe that a sports/performance car should really get one's adrenaline flowing. If your car doesn't do that for you, and it is just sitting, sell it. The right person could appreciate the mods, but most buyers are looking for low mileage stock versions. It would probably be best, therefore, to return the car to stock and sell with the warranty. Sell the mods separately.

Definitely not the tip , just sell it if you do not like it !
Best to remove all non original parts and sell those separately.

I would hang onto it for a couple more years, unless you are itching to replace it with something different

I hear you. The car does get my blood flowing, it's just the streets in Chicago are trash, I won't park it anywhere that I don't have an eye on it. Maybe I'm just too **** for a car like this. Maybe I'm better off with my S4 with 60K on the clock.

1700 miles... you could be doing something better with that money.

IMO, sell it.

Sell it. Revert back to stock and resell your upgrades.

I wont get into the investment car statement but, why would you invest 80K into something that you just don't use and only takes up space?

I put 600 miles in one weekend attending a PCA event. I do 6-7 a year. I also drive the car on the weekend at times. "Worth every penny to me."

Since your 997 is tip, I would revert back to stock. most enthusiast wants manuals and will appreciate your mods more.
