Cobb AP V3, how to data log a Turbo S???

Might sound idiotic but first time with auto tranny and porsche PDK. I just bought the Cobb AP V3, and need to data log 2 passes. Instructions say "Shift car to 3rd and hold it arround 2000 rpms and press down pedal til mid 6000 rpms and let off.

Now my questions are
1. If I use Sport plus mode will never get to 2000 rpms in 3rd, it will downshift. Only way is manually, but not sure if it will give out the full power at manual mode.

2. Why til 6500 rpms when the car goes beyond that?

Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,

You can change the RPM value prior to starting the test program. Just use you up and down keys to change their values.

Facilito - En manual de 3000 a 6500 rpm - el poder maximo del auto esta entre 5500 -6000rpm

Just start around 2500 to 3000 in manual mode and then floor it till red line or close to it. That is generally a good clip of data for the tuner to see.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions at all!

Listen to ^ man! I asked a similar question and he helped me with the pulls and sent me a custom file....all I can say is WOW! And I'm only on a 91 Stage2 tune...its a monster.
Mitch is the man and I absolutely love my Cobb AP.
