Don't know what "ThunderRolls" is on about.
Given his rep score, he's probably a little green, I say ignore him.
.........................................

Sorry guys for not updating.
Work and travels took the better of me which left little time to tune and update this board.

In short, the car is running strong.

This week I've received my TPC Racing Dynamic Suspension Control (DSC) - eager to put that in. Same time I have a AVIC-8100NEX multimedia/navigation head unit sitting on my desk waiting to be installed, as soon as the surround kit from Suncoast arrives. Will update once that is in.
Side note I looked at updating to the 997.2 components, however there is currently no easy way to get the compressor working with the .2 mod, so I decided to just update the head unit, which also give me substantially better functionality than the .2 OEM unit anyway.

Regarding the tune, I did have some issues with it that are noteworthy to mention, that Dzenno was incredibly helpful with diagnosing and working with me to resolve.

The issue was a slight loss of power when not in sport mode and primarily in first gear. It only happened when on part throttle, through a slow and smooth acceleration which when it got to around 3200 - 3500 rpm it felt like there was a temporary power loss before picking up again.

After quite a few logging and mapping sessions it turns out that the mapping of the throttle/torque request in that 3500 needed some adjustment. It's a bit more complicated than that, but we managed to sort it out.
I have one final loging full throttle romp left, before getting it on the dyno, however I have delayed due to the wet weather we are having - just not safe with the savage acceleration that's produced now

forum board rep score, lol.

I guess I should have been more specific. It's not what you are doing with the car itself. Just a general comment about all the whining and griping going on about orders getting screwed up, and a guy has to come on and call someone a massive ****? After reading to that point is when I posted the comment (that I probably should have kept to myself). Sorry to offend.

Try owning a few airplanes ... lol

Yeah, I had a seriously bad run with the orders, probably the worst run on this board... thinking back it's kinda funny now, specifically getting sent one spark plug instead of the set that was ordered.

Nope, I left my stock. However they will become the limiting factor if you want to push even more power out.

I'm following your build because I am debating a power upgrade. I'm in the process of a suspension upgrade. Maybe I will start a thread on that, although I am sticking close to what everyone else is doing on suspension.

Update on the TPC Racings: DSC Sport electronic suspension control module that I installed earlier last week:

It's been a few days for me (spirited city driving only), and I haven't really felt much improvement, to be candid.

With that said I had extreme-optimized my suspension with alignment, Bilstein damptronics, solid transmission + engine mounts, and Tarett + RSS tarmac series "everything" LOL.

I ran on the assumption that the DSC module would aid in slightly improved dynamics. However its clear now that when one has optimized to the extent that I have, you reach the point of very limited returns on benefit from such a system.

Also with my setup I find that there is some, but very little discernible difference between the three modes, in comparison to the stock system which really firmed up the ride in sport. The stock-sport mode, with my setup, was only really usable on highway or the track.

My conclusion is that the DSC Module is a great investment if you are running stock or slightly modified suspension, and not necessarily the first choice for those with suspension ADD :P.

I'm keeping it anyway - will see next year how it fairs on longer out of province drives and on the track.
...and I'm interested to see what will be available in the future from TPC with their DSC custom tuning software for this module - I think there's great potential there.

Pure, I'm not sure if your car gets "floaty" at high speeds (220km/hr plus) but mine did at the track, and the DSC unit really made a big difference. My suspension isn't as tweaked as yours - gmg springs and sways.

BTW, I think you should log your injector duty cycles - when I was on stock injectors even with the 5bar fpr the idc was in the 90s in places. Just no margin for error in that scenario. Our tunes must be similar - similar parts and Dzenno at the keys.

How did you like the transmission mounts? How much added NVH is there over the factory setup?

Of all the mods I have done, this one had the biggest impact. With that said, I changed to solid transmission mounts and cup cables at the same time, so can't comment on individual impact of each component.

I get more "raspyness" filtering into the cabin from the engine and transmission - but this is actually a pleasurable addition.

On the negative side, my stock dual mass flywheel may be reaching the end of it's lifecycle, and the chatter, in first gear, was made more apparent with this mod.

There is definitely a positive felt performance impact - which is accentuated through fast, tight, switchbacks.

Ultimately, I guess if your question is if I would change back to stock mounts? ...I'd say no.

Never had that floaty feeling - so tough to comment on change impact of DSC at high speeds.

Agreed - we've probably got very similar setup
