Guys, can anyone tell me how to install the funky links that come with the B16/PSS10 package
I have this type:
From The Sharkwerks Guide...
But what orientation do they get installed at?
Strut mount bolt facing towards the rear of the car? or front?
Swaybar side mounted on the inside or outside of the sway...
The install guide for these are pretty poor... Seems most people are scared to use the ones that come with the units as the earlier versions were prone to failure..

Hi there, congrats; get ready for a total transformation in handling prowess :-). You will be pleased. Anyway regarding your question, front drop link is ALWAYS outboard (outside) of the bar. In other words, drop link is always *between* the wheel and the sway bar. The pic below is with my Tarrett link, but the idea is the same. See also Gary's install thread below, he has picture of stock link.
Installing outboard will definitely increase the chance of failure - causing the drop link pop out of its socket (even pro installers have made this mistake). BTW, I still use the original straight Bilstein drop link (unlike the newer one like yours with a slight bend) and mine has NEVER popped out. Probably because I drive like grandma LOL.
Hi Guys, sorry to bother you with this old thread... but i ve just installed B16 coilover damptronic pss10 , and i ve got some trouble with the Bilstein drop links.
My AD did the installation this way ( see pic2) using the instruction (pic1).
it seems to be different from what i ve seen overhere.
the problem is , i have clunking noise, once the car is Warm and au low speed ... it drives me crazy.
