Pro Tuning Freaks PTF meets 997 Turbo 3.8 PDK

Hey Guys,

i am reading since long time in this forum about mods and other very interesting things.

To me: i am from germany and have an 2011 997 Turbo with PDK

My Mods:
  • VRT Wing Carbon GT3 Look
  • Carbon Mirrors
  • Carbon Air Entrace GT2 Look
  • Carbon - Stock Lip
  • Lower Springs from Eibach
  • BBS FI Wheels Polished 19 Inch (safe 17,4 KG weight)
  • Kline Innovation - Equal Length Inconel Manifolds
  • Catless Exhaust Custom with X Pipe 63mm
  • Stock Air Filter
  • COBB Tune by Pro Tuning Freaks, big thanks to Dzenno
To do:
  • Kline Innovation full inconel Decat Exhaust (will arrive next week!)
  • New Map with 3 Bar Sensors optimized to new Exhaust and Manifolds
  • Recaro Poles Position Full Carbon
I would speak about the Tune from PTF wich was supported from Dzenno. Very great job, that guy knows what he is doing!!! we check every change with my performance box to see where we are! bk you cant feel small differences but on street it changes a huge against other cars lol

The car is like a beast now. very very insane acceleration.

here some times all with performance box recordet and already corrected:

100-200 kph in 5,69 Seconds
100-250 kph in 10,90 Seconds

Last night we compare it against an 991 Turbo wich was made from PP Performance and has 680 HP and 950 NM on Dyno.

The Result was 997 was faster!! at 328 Kph 4 car length in front lol

I would some pictures soon from my car and times etc..

Regards

Kayhan

Holy crap! Those are amazing numbers for just exhaust and custom tune by PTF. Great job! Would love to see some pics when you get a chance. What modifications were on the PP Performance 991?

I just re-read this post, did you actually race against the PP performance 991 to 328 km/hr (204mph) or was it 228km/hr?

Lovely car nice work!

I wonder if anyone is doing COBB tunes in the UK, I also run PDK.

Where did you get your carbon front splitter & mirrors? Also how do you find the ride using the stock dampers and Eibach springs?

Like the spoiler, but wow, it's giant money! I'm on a similar quest to you by the looks of it, only had mine a month and it's started

PTF does remote custom tuning. That's their bread and butter. Probably worth sending them an email. Dzenno is a really amazing standup guy and a great tuner.
